The Valais is proud to offer its idyllic setting for this extraordinary cycle race. From the right bank to the left bank of the Rhône, from the valley floor to the slopes up to 2000 metres above sea level, this demanding cycling race could not fail to cross our beautiful region of Veysonnaz.
An exceptional sporting challenge linking the resorts of the region through stunning landscapes. This demanding cycling race meets the characteristics of the Marmottes Granfondo Series: in one day, to experience a difference in altitude comparable to the ascent of Everest by crossing several outstanding mountain passes, including Thyon 2000 at 2'090m and the Croix-de-Coeur culminating at 2'174m.
The Tour des Stations travels through the enchanting landscapes of the Valais, from the vineyards to the high mountains, crossing mountain pastures, small authentic villages and internationally renowned resorts. The event aims to establish itself as the benchmark to the Granfondo cycling race in Switzerland, following the example of the Marmotte Alpes in France and the Marathon des Dolomites in Italy.
