The departure point is in Thyon along the ancient bisse de Chervé, which has been widened to meet the needs of the Combire and Meina mountain pastures.
After a little more than an hour's walk on a mountain track, the Chottes restaurant awaits you for a well-deserved break.
The path leads walkers along the edge of the slopes, through the Forêt Noire, past the Tsa drinking water springs and across the Combire pastures where cows graze in summer.
For push-chairs, this itinerary requires equipment adapted to mountain tracks and a minimum of physical fitness for those accompanying the child.
The walk varies between 2,100 and 2,200 metres in altitude. If you live close to sea level, it is advisable to acclimatize your toddler to the mountain beforehand. Stay a few days in the village, between 1,000 and 1,500 metres before taking the gondola.
