This hike is ideal for exploring the different facets of the village of Veysonnaz and its surroundings. The departure point is in front of Veysonnaz Tourisme, towards the arrival of the Mayens piste, at the gondola departure station. The nearby bisse de Vex and the Magrappé hotel make this a pleasant and well-frequented place in all seasons.
Then head off to discover the Rue de Pra, the main street of the tourist resort, lined with buildings and embellished with shops and restaurants. At the end of the street, towards the Restaurant le Greppon Blanc, don't miss the exceptional panoramic view before going down the Chemin de Pra to reach the old quarters of the village. You are invited to walk through the narrow streets and why not visit the church. Admire the beautiful wooden village hall.
After crossing Veysonnaz, join the pleasant and sunny Route de Clèbes. At the entrance to the hamlet, continue along the same road towards Verrey, until you reach the bisse de Vex, which brings you back to Veysonnaz.
The majority of the route is along tarmac roads and does not present any particular difficulties. However, the last part on the bisse requires an all-terrain push-chair. A minimum of physical condition is required to tackle the positive difference in altitude of around 200 metres after the village of Clèbes.
