Are you ready for an adventure that will take you on your E-bike or mountain bike to the Crêtes de Thyon? Start with the first uphill climb to the charming sunny hamlet of Verrey.
After crossing the hamlet, a descent into forêt Noire awaits you to reach the lowest point of the day at an altitude of 1'200 metres.
You then cross the Mayens de la Verne pastures between the Printse and the bisse de Vex before reaching the hamlet of Planchouet. The next section is along the tarmac main road to Siviez, the heart of the 4 Valleys. You then have two options:
- Use of the Combatseline chairlift, which takes you some 500 metres higher, effortlessly, almost on to the terrace of the Combatseline restaurant
- Climb the alpine track for about four kilometres. With a short detour, you can take a break at the restaurant.
You then follow the mountain roads, past the cow sheds of the Meina, then the Combire, now tastefully renovated into a restaurant, Les Chottes where you can enjoy a well deserved break.
Once you arrive at the place called La Tsa, after the ski lift of the same name, a new climb awaits you to finally reach the highest point of your day: La Tsermetta at almost 2,400 metres. What a reward, the panoramic view is worth all the effort and you really deserve it!
After this great achievement, there is still the downhill part of the tour, first quite technical on the Crêtes de Thyon to the Trabanta, then pleasant along the alpine routes, then along the forest tracks through the magnificent forêt de l'Ours.
The very last part takes you back to Veysonnaz along the tarmac road.
