Coor
Towns & villages
Coor, nestled at 668 metres above sea level, is located on the rocky plateau above the village of Aproz.
The hamlet of Coor is located in an essentially agricultural area. For a long time it was very isolated and its young people had begun to abandon it. It was not until the 1960s that it was linked by road to Aproz, which renewed the hope of its inhabitants that their little village would survive.
The Sion - Basse-Nendaz - Sion mountain bike itinerary passing through Coor is classified as one of the most difficult routes because of the impressive 50% slope between this hamlet and Basse-Nendaz.
